 QUEEN PALM FREEZE DAMAGE FROM-2010

This is what happens when the temps drop below 23 degrees for to long of a period. The bark will crack and split and the wood will get real spongy inside, the water inside the tree freezes and causes severe tissue damage, and the tree will rot from the inside out causing it to get weak and eventually fall over. This usually doesn’t show up for a year or two after the freeze.
